About Me

I'm Bethany, the owner and sole artist of Burning Sage. As a female-owned business, I strive to provide excellent levels of comfort and communication, despite performing painful procedures. To me, comfort means something different, and it's a personal goal of mine to demand a new level of professionalism from the tattoo industry. I don't smoke, and I'm a straightedge (I will always be sober). I don't believe in earning your tattoo through pain, and promote the use of numbing products. I maximize the efficiency of our communication via forms and automatic replies rather than ongoing conversations. This can be confusing to tattoo veterans, but rest assured that all of my professional energy is being spent on your design and tattoo—not on my inbox. My shop is sterile, and everything you come into contact with has been sanitized (including the couch!). All equipment has been inspected and passed by the health department, and my insurance and licenses are always up to date and displayed. I offer easy aftercare packages, and I'm always here to answer all your questions. Let's get to work on something beautiful.
